About Us
At AS&J Counseling, we have experienced therapist from a variety of backgrounds available to facilitate positive change for clients five (5) years of age and up. We offer counseling for individuals, families, and couples with services offered in English and Spanish. Our licensed therapists have experience in working with mental health issues that include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, family dysfunction, relationship dysfunction, grief, domestic violence, post-traumatic stress disorder, and self esteem issues. We offer groups that address anger management, parenting, and substance abuse. Counseling for addiction and substance abuse is also available in individual and group formats.
Counseling Services
AS&J accepts Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP, and most insurances. We accept the following payment methods: VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal. AS&J offers individual and group counseling in English and Spanish.
Our rate of services are 100.00 for individual counseling and 125.00 for family or couples counseling.
Individual Counseling is available for a wide variety of mental health issues that include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, family dysfunction, relationship dysfunction, grief, domestic violence, post-traumatic stress disorder, self esteem issues, and addiction and substance abuse issues.
Group Counseling is available for anger management, parenting, domestic violence issues, and addiction and substance abuse.
Sliding Scale & Free Counseling
AS&J now provides sliding scale and free counseling for adolescents and adults through our internship program. Our interns have strong therapeutic skills with the ability to help those who may not be able to afford the cost associated with individual or family counseling. Appointments are limited and require proof of need. AS&J offers supervision to LPC Interns with Aaron Rhyne, MA, LPC-S.
Domestic Violence Program
AS&J’s Domestic Violence Program addresses the needs of men and women who batter and facilitates change to assist them in becoming non-violent. Our therapist are trained in the Duluth Model for Batterers.

ASJ is legally and ethically bound to report incidences of abuse and neglect in children and adults. If ASJ, through compiling information for treatment, determines an individual is being abused or neglected, the appropriate authorities will be contacted.
